Rangers defeated the Dodgers 12-1. The day before this Dodgers beat the Rangers 12-1 an impressive turn around for the Rangers. The Rangers picked apart the Dodgers’ pitchers to a tune of 17 hits. Rangers’ pitchers gave up just 6 hits and Dodgers managed just 1 hit in the last 4 innings. Kolby Allard got the win for the Rangers to up his record to 2-2. Trevor Bauer was dealt with the loss for the Dodgers. Rangers finally ended their road game losing streak which was up to 16 games. This was the best performance for the Rangers this year. Isiah Kiner- Falefa extended his hitting streak to 10 games. He had 3 hits and also stole 3 bases.
Rangers got 9 hits and 6 runs off the NL Cy Young award winner Trevor Bauer. This was the most he gave up in both categories. Rookie standout Adolis García started off the scoring for the Rangers with a RBI double and ultimately ended up with 2 RBIs. Jason Martin got his first MLB home run in the 9th inning. He finished with 3 RBIs. Nate Lowe also finished with 3 RBIs. Jonah Heim hit a 2 run home run in the 4th inning to bring the score to 4-0. Calhoun and García both added 1 run in the 7th inning. Then Pollock got the Dodgers on the board with a solo home run. Kiner- Falefa got a sac fly in the 8th inning an then Nate Lowe and Jason Martin both got 2 run home runs in the 9th.
