Bucks beat the Heat 120-103. It turns out there was a good reason Bucks made sure they played Heat first round. Bucks sweep the playoff series 4-0. And complete their revenge from last year vs the Heat. Heat became just the second team to go sweeping in the first round 1 year to getting swept in the first round the following year. Miami got off to a nice start going up by 12 early in the second quarter but the Bucks cut into the lead before the half. And then Heat followed the first half with one of their conventional turd quarters allowing Bucks to start off the second half on a 24-6 run. Heat just didn’t have enough this series and that is why their season is now over.
For the Bucks Brook Lopez lead them with 25 points. Forbes had 22 points off the bench and was 7 for 14 behind the arc. Giannis had his first playoff triple double with 20 points 12 rebounds and 15 assists and Middleton also had 20 points. For the Heat Bam Adebayo had 20 points along with 14 rebounds and Jimmy Butler had 12 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. But it wasn’t enough for the Heat. They really struggled in the 2nd half scoring just 39 points in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Bucks made adjustments in the 2nd half to slow down the Heat and Heat did nothing to stop them. Bucks await the winner of Nets and Celtics.
