AEW will be putting on their version of “Wrestlemania” Double or Nothing. Back in 2019 the 1st show AEW had under their new company was DON and now to see how far they’ve come is amazing to see. 2 years ago the wrestling world was shaken down to its core when they heard the news of a new Wrestling company in the US with the biggest names in the world. Now AEW holds the best from the past and the present and looks to put on their best show ever.
Buy In Match
NWA Women’s World Championship Match
Serena Deeb vs Riho
The Buy In match every PPV is somewhat entertaining because they want you to Buy into the PPV. But this Buy In match is unlike any others because it’s for a championship with 2 of the best women wrestlers in the world today. Serena Deeb has been defending her championship in 2 promotions 345 miles apart. Deeb had a barn burner of a match with Tay Conti on a recent episode of Dynamite so these 2 women have a chance to steal the show. Riho, former inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion hasn’t seen a lot of action since losing her championship back in February 2020. These 2 had a match in the AEW Women’s Eliminator Tournament where Riho pulled up the upset. Will we see that again?
Casino Battle Royale
OK, OK, OK so this is when my wrestling mark brain starts to turn. There’s so many options for this joker card and there’s options I want to see and options I think are more likely than others. But before that let’s talk about the current participants, Christain Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs, Matt Sydel, 10, Matt Hardy, Penta, Marq Quen, The Acclaimed, Nick Comorotto, Lee Johnson, Dustin Rhodes, Brian Pillman Jr, QT Marshall, Blade, Isaiah Cassidy, Colt Cabana, Jungle Boy, Evil Uno, and Griff Garrison. Look at the experience in the ring, Christian Cage 30+ years, Dustin Rhodes 35+ years, Matt Hardy 30+ years, one of these 3 men will have the upper hand on the younger fellas. But watch out for underdogs like Jungle Boy, Brian Pillman, Lee Johnson guys that can make a name for themselves in this match. But let’s talk about the JOKER, alright the person I want to be the Joker is… Daniel Bryan, Bryan’s WWE contract just expired and has stated if he were to leave WWE he wants to wrestle everywhere. Imagine the crowd reaction if the American Dragon showed up and won the whole damn thing. That would give us for ALL OUT Daniel Bryan vs Kenny Omega for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. I’m gonna leave that there.

Hangman Page vs Brian Cage
After round 1 went to Brian Cage on an episode of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page is gonna be looking for payback on the Machine. Cage has been dominant in his tenure with AEW with a 7-1 singles record with wins over Adam Page, Matt Sydal, and current stable mate Powerhouse Hobbs. While Hangman has a 8-1 singles record in 2021 with wins over Matt Hardy, FTW’s Ricky Starks, Frankie Kaz, and had the pinfall versus the Young Bucks. This is guaranteed to be a hard hitting affair and both are looking to climb up the rankings and hopefully get a shot at Kenny Omega.

Sting & Darby Allin vs Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page
Sting’s 1st match in the ring since the travesty of Seth Rollins almost paralyzing him. The Icon and Darby’s wrestling styles are so unorthodox that it’ll throw off any tag team. You have Darby who’s fast paced and high flying, while Sting is slow and methodical with every step he takes. Sky and Page are two guys that are just looking to get more TV time and looking to take it away from guys that take up too much of it. Both are in their primes and looking to dominate the tag team division. If you’re a hardcore wrestling fan you’re aware of the Ethan Page vs Darby Allin rivalry from the Indies, so this story writes itself and I’m excited to see a national audience see this unfold.

TNT Championship
Miro (C) vs Lance Archer
What a hard hitting match this will be. No high flying suicide dives to the outside just strikes and pure fighting. One year ago on the same PPV Lance had a chance to become the inaugural AEW TNT Champion against Cody but came up short. Archer has all the tools needed to be a champion, he has the height, athleticism, IQ, and strength. But on the other hand you have Miro, a physical specimen in the ring. After winning the TNT title last week on Dynamite Miro will already be tested. Miro is undefeated in singles action since joining AEW and all of his wins have been in convincing fashion. The clash of 2 titans for the TNT Championship, can’t wait to watch!!

AEW Women’s World Championship
Hikaru Shida (C) vs Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.
Over the last year, Hikaru Shida has been the most dominant wrestler in AEW regardless of gender. After beating Nyla Rose for the Women’s Championship it’s all been up hill. She’s defeated names like Thunder Rosa, Nyla Rose, Tay Conti, Abandon, and Ryo Mizunami. She’s ran through the whole roster except this version of Britt Baker. During that year Shida and Baker had a match where Shida broke Britt Baker’s nose and ever since then she’s been unstoppable. This will be Shida’s biggest test to date with a red hot Britt Baker on her plate, will she be able to avoid the lock-jaw which nobody has gotten out of and once it’s in you’re done or will the knee connect to Britt Baker’s nose again.

AEW World Tag Team Championship
Young Bucks (C) vs Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston
From the allies of Cincinnati Ohio and Yonkers NY, Eddie and Moxley have traveled the roads together and gone through every hardship possible. They’ll be going against the kids from Rancho Cucamonga who were self taught to be high flying maniacs. The thing about this match is that Moxley and Eddie won’t go down easy like the Bucks recent competition. Plus Moxley and Eddie have nothing to lose while the Bucks have everything to lose and that’s not a good thing for the reigning champions. Whoever gets to use their type of offense will win this match, if it starts going fast pace the Bucks will win, if this match goes down to the mat Mox and Eddie will win. It’s gonna be exciting how this match goes down and could be the 1st loss for the ELITE.

AEW World Heavyweight Championship
Kenny Omega (C) vs Orange Cassidy vs PAC
When it was 1st announced that this match would be a triple threat match, Omega wasn’t the happiest fella on the earth. The current AEW World Heavyweight Champion, current Impact World Champion, and current AAA Champion will be looking to keep all the gold against a guy who’s had his number in the past and a guy who’s very unpredictable. In the 1st ever ALL OUT in 2019, Omega stepped in for Jon Moxley to go against PAC and PAC defeated the current AEW Heavyweight Champion via Black Arrow submission combination. And then on February 26th 2020, Omega and PAC had a 30 minute Iron Man match where Omega won in Overtime so everybody knows that PAC can pin and submit Omega but the other factor is the reason why this match will be interesting. Orange Cassidy is the most unpredictable superstar in today’s age and when he gets ticked off he’s a very dangerous man. Cassidy solidified himself as one of best wrestlers in the company after defeating the GOAT Chris Jericho multiple times. This is gonna be very fun to watch so just sit back, eat some popcorn and relax and enjoy.

Stadium Stampede: Inner Circle vs The Pinnacle
I cannot wait for this match!! Last year the ELITE and the Inner Circle squared off in a Stadium Stampede match and it was safe to say it was one of the greatest things to ever come from wrestling. A perfect combination of comedy, wrestling, and the thought of you can literally do anything makes this soo good. The Inner Circle and Pinnacle still want to chop each others heads off after Blood & Guts, the Inner Circle thought the Pinnacle won dirty and unfair so they force themselves a rematch by spraying the Pinnacle with the Bubbly. Except for the unexpected in this match, I really can’t say a lot more on this topic because you really don’t know what to say besides if the Inner Circle loses they need to leave forever. Since the beginning of Dynamite the Inner Circle has been on basically every single episode and making an impact in every episode. If they’re gonna disband at least it’s gonna be in a fun and exciting manner.
