Heat Game Preview: Heat at Celtics 5/9 and 5/11

Miami Heat take on the Celtics on Sunday at 1 pm and Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Miami Heat are currently 36-31 winners of 4 of their last 5 games and coming off recently a win over the Timberwolves. Celtics are currently 35-32 and are coming off a 22 point loss vs the Bulls. Miami Heat are currently the 6th seed and Celtics are currently the 7th seed. Celtics are already up 1-0 in the season series. Both teams are fighting for playoff berth. If Heat win both of these games they will clinch playoff berth and also have tiebreaker over the Celtics. If Celtics win 1 of the 2 they will have the tiebreaker. Heat still has Olidapo out and hoping he can be back for the playoffs but the possibility of that is looking worse and worse every day. For the Celtics Jaylen Brown is still out.

Jayson Tatum has been playing amazing this year and has had a 60 point game recently. He’s averaging 26.3 points per game with 4.4 assists per game and has shot 46% this year. Kemba Walker has played well lately dropping 32 and 33 points his last 2 games. Miami must do everything in their power to contain both of these guys. Miami and Boston have faced off this year with Celtics taking that game 107-105. For Miami Jimmy Butler has been averaging 21.7 points per game, with 7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists so far this year. While Bam Adebayo has been averaging 19.2 points per game and 9.1 rebounds a game. Miami will need good games from both in both games in order to take the series. Miami will also need a good game from Dragic and Herro. Miami needs to take both of these games in order to avoid the play-in tournament.
