Miami Heat take on the Cleveland Cavaliers today at 8 pm est. Miami Heat are currently 33-30 coming off a win vs the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesdsay and are in need of another win tonight to better their seeding for the playoffs. Miami Heat are the 7th seed currently and want to avoid the play in tournament. Cavaliers are currently 21-42 and are on a 5 game losing streak currently. Cavaliers are very close to being eliminated from the playoffs and are in need of a win tonight to keep their small playoff chances alive. Heat still has Olidapo out and are hoping he can be back for playoffs. Herro is still dealing with an injury and might not play tonight. As of right now for the Cavs Dellavedova and Garland are out. For the Heat to win this game they must contain Sexland and guard the boards something they have struggled with.
Collin Sexton has been on a tear this season averaging 24.4 points and 4.1 assists. I believe the best move is to have Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo follow him all night because if Sexton is able to get going it will be a rough night for the Miami Heat. Miami has played the Cavaliers twice this season already and are currently 2-0. In order to make it 3-0 Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo must continue their dominance. Jimmy Butler has been averaging 21.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists so far this year. While Bam Adebayo has been averaging 19.2 points and 9.1 rebounds. Miami will need a good night from both in order to pull this game off. They will also need some valuable minutes from the bench. Dedmon has been giving them good minutes off the bench since he has joined and Goran Dragic has played well lately. In order for Heat to pull this off they will need good results from all these people. Im manifesting a close game maybe like a 6 point win by the Heat tonight. They certainly need this one.
