The third seeded Los Angeles Clippers take on the team with the worst record in the NBA in what should be a beat down of a game. The Clippers are 42-19 and are trying to take a top two spot over the Suns, looking primed for playoff time. The Rockets own the worst record in the NBA, currently at 15-44 and not looking up anytime soon. The Clippers are riddled with injury, currently having Kawhi Leonard, Jay Scrubb, Patrick Beverley, and Serge Ibaka are all out for tonight’s contest. Rajon Rondo is questionable for the game with a right wrist injury. The Rockets are looking even more beat up with David Nwaba, Dante Exum, D.J. Augustine, Eric Gordon, Kevin Porter Jr. and Danuel House Jr. are all out for the game, with Sterling Brown listed as day-to-day. The three-keys I’d write off for the Clippers to defeat the Rockets would be Paul George stepping up, neutralize Christian Wood, and get the bench in the entire game.

Paul George’s leading role in this game with most of the leaders out of this game is crucial in getting a win for tonight’s game. PG13 is averaging 23.8 PPG while being on the court 33.6 minutes per game, and has had a great hot streak as of late. Paul George getting involved and being a big factor in this game is one of the biggest keys to winning this game if not the biggest. Christian Wood is having an incredible season, averaging 20.9 PPG and 9.3 RPG, a career season for the G-League alum. Stopping Wood from having a double double is crucial as well, he’s really one of the only stars on the court and when he’s hot can be scary. Last but not least, the bench will be huge. I expect a big win in Houston, 123-101 and Paul George having a 30-point outing. The game is in Houston and tip-off is at 8 PM EST, thank you for reading, Shaney out.
