Early Life
Even before Jared could create memories he’s always been in love with the game of basketball. Growing up with his younger brother Jalen, the two loved playing the sport. And this love later led to their father former Point Guard for Elizabeth City State University Patrick Harper training them. However, growing up Jared’s elders made sure to get him involved in as many activities as possible such as baseball and the saxophone. Throughout it all, Jared’s true loved remained basketball. During most of Jared’s pre-high school years, his father always ensured he played with kids older than him, and despite being undersized, he thrived.
