It’s that time of the year again… the time of the year we all fear yet can’t get enough of, and that is Knicks Basketball. For the first time in 287 days, the New York Knicks play meaningful basketball again!!
The New York Knicks are on the road for their first game of the season traveling to Indiana to play the Indiana Pacer in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse arena. Not only will this be one of the first Knicks games in nearly 300 days, but this game will also be the debut of Tom Thibodeau as head coach of the New York Knicks (It feels like I say that every year). The Pacers will be shorthanded with SG Jeremy Lamb out and bubble Michael Jordan T.J Warren being day today. However, the New York Knicks haven’t completely dodged the injury bug with Mr. high school highlight mixtape Austin Rivers appearing on the injury report with a groin injury, the Wilt Chamberlain record-breaker himself Mitchell Robinson also made an appearance on the injury report with a sprained right ankle but early indications are that he will be good to go, lastly, JCole’s friend who can dunk also made an appearance on the injury report having missed the last preseason game against the Cleveland Cavaliers which allowed us to experience QuickleyMania, however, much like Mitchell Robinson, the early indication is that Dennis Smith Jr will be good to go come game time.

Your dose of New York Knickerbockers basketball will be on at 7:00 PM on MSG, MSG+, Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Indiana, and lastly but certainly the most expensive NBA League Pass.
