New York Jets

TNF Preview: NY Jets versus the Denver Broncos. Do we have a chance? Is Adam Gase over? What to expect, Where to watch, and Predictions!

My Oh My! I never thought I’d see the day that this “Brilliant Offensive Mind” would get fired. The Jets are finally doing something right! We are getting on the right track and let’s see what we can…….. are you kidding me?!

Nothing can go our way. Hopefully it’s a false report and he’s out of here after this week. However, knowing the Johnson’s and their inability to be competent owners it’s extremely unlikely. Let’s get this article started!

The New York Jets are 0-3 going into this one versus a team that has been diminished by injuries. Their starting QB is out; Von Miller is out, Jurrell Casey is out, Sutton is injured, and Phillip Lindsay is questionable. This is a winnable game! As much as I want to win, I want Adam Gase fired. However, the “Brilliant Offensive Mind” won’t be fired off of today’s performance. Why does everything go sideways for us? Are the Johnson’s this incompetent that they can’t tell the team does not want Gase as the coach? I’ll take Jim Bob Cooter as interim OC for the rest of the year. We need improvement from Sam, and it won’t come from Gase. This year, all QBs that have faced this Denver defense have thrown for a combined 857 passing yards and 7 TDs in 3 games. Sam has to show up! There is no excuse; he has to ignore Gase’s play call if it’s a WR screen on 3rd down. He keeps taking the blame when we all know Gase is the issue. He’s calling inside pass plays to a 6’5 giant, Lawrence Cager, who can efficiently run a streak route and moss his defender. It’s sad how uncreative Adam Gase is not able to think of that. On top of that, he hasn’t found a way to incorporate one of the league’s best running back’s in his offense. It’s depressing to think how good this team could’ve been under an actual “Brilliant Offensive Mind.” The coach didn’t have to be brilliant but just competent. Going into this one, the Jets will be without WR Breshad Perriman and S Ashtyn Davis, LB Jordan Willis are both doubtful. Our rookie LT Mekhi Becton is questionable, and so is WR Jamison Crowder, John Franklin-Myers, OLB Jordan Jenkins, and WR Chris Hogan.
