The NBA is back tomorrow with two primetime games on TNT starting off with Zion and the Pelicans versus Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz at 6:30 EST. And in the main event Kawhi and company try to take down the number 1 seed Los Angeles Lakers at 9:00 EST. Now the two storylines in these two games are, how and will the Pelicans use Zion Williamson after coming back to the bubble? Can Kawhi and PG13 continue their winning ways against LeBron and Anthony Davis? How much will losing Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell hurt the Clippers vs the Lakers? All of these questions will be answered in the next 48 hours and buckle yourself in for a rocky ride.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Utah Jazz Preview

We all know why this game is in a primetime slot and that reason is rookie sensation Zion Williamson. But the thing is Zion left the bubble very early to deal with a family issue and was frequently tested. Returning a couple of days ago, how ready will Zion be and are the Pelicans gonna risk playing him with injuries that could easily happen? The Pelicans are in a must win mode in the bubble and need to win the majority of their games to get the 8th seed over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Jazz will be playing a meaningful game for the first time since Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell caught COVID-19 back in March. Did Donovan and Rudy really bury the hatchet about their argument? I’m interested to see how they will play together and see if there is still tension.
Prediction: Now my prediction for this game will be the Utah Jazz and why you ask? Well I don’t think Zion will have an impact because of how recently he came back and we don’t even know if he’s in basketball shape. I’ve seen Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell win big time games over the last couple of years and for those reasons I’m going with the Utah Jazz.
Los Angeles Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers Preview
What a matchup to start the NBA bubble the two LA powerhouses going at it to see who’s taking or tying the season series. The Clippers currently are 2-1 against the Lakers in the 2019-2020 campaign and looking to make that 3-1. Anthony Davis came down with an eye injury but is planning on playing Thursday night. Some notable names for the Clippers won’t be playing in Montrezl Harrell, and Lou Williams. Lou Will is the main staple in the Clippers bench and he’s the basically the only offensive source when Kawhi and Paul George are off the court. The Lakers are gonna have a LeBron James who looks like he wants to take heads off and dominate on route for championship number 4. Kawhi is statically proven to be unstoppable in the playoffs and in games that really count. This is probably the best matchup you’ll see in the regular season bubble.
Prediction: My prediction is gonna be the Los Angeles…….. Lakers. And my reasoning is gonna be the Lakers are gonna have more scoring off the bench compared to the Clippers without Lou Williams, the Lakers will have JR Smith, Kyle Kuzma, Dion Waiters, all of those guys are bonafide scorers and I don’t see anyone on the Clippers bench that could defend them. Plus they have a guy named LeBron James if you didn’t know.
