Gregg Popovich drops his San Antonio Mansion Price with a Nets HC vacancy… is he a possibility?

In 2018, Gregg Popovich put his mansion in San Antonio on the market for 4.5 million dollars. According to Darren Rovell on Twitter: “Spurs coach Gregg Popovich drops price of 9,600 square foot San Antonio mansion to $3.1 million, down from $4.5 million in 2018.”

Even though Gregg Popovich signed a 3-year extension with the Spurs in 2019, but this raises these questions. Why sell the mansion? Why lower the price? There has been speculation of the Future Hall of Fame coach to leave the Spurs. Sean Mark, Nets General Manager, has previous connections with Popovich. He was his Assistant Coach in 2013-16. So there is some opportunity or chance for the Nets to take Popovich and make him an offer he can’t refuse. The Future Hall of Fame coach deserves it all, and he’s proven himself as one of the greatest to coach the game. Brooklyn is in dire need of a coach who can lead this franchise to the promise land. They could settle with interim coach Jacque Vaughn or sign another coach like Mark Jackson, one of the Van Gundy’s, Tom Thibodeau, a reunion with Jason Kidd, or Tyronn Lue. This has been Jose Calderon III from FiveBoroughDispatch. Have a great day everybody!
