Where are the 2012-2013 Knicks Now?

Today we are gonna be telling you where the 2012-2013 New York Knicks are in 2020. Don’t try to fool me, I know this has to be your favorite Knicks squad in the last decade. So buckle in and see where some of your favorite Knicks are in 2020. This will be a 2 part series.

Carmelo Anthony: Ever since he led the league in scoring back in 2013, Carmelo Anthony has been with a couple of new teams. First he got traded to the Thunder, for Doug McDermott, Enes Kanter and a 2018 2nd Round Pick (Mitchell Robinson). He played well averaging 16.2 PPG, 4.9 RPG, and 1.3 APG. Then signed with Rockets the following season, but agreed to part ways after 13 games. Then got traded to the Bulls and Hawks and then got released without playing a game for both teams. And now he is playing with the Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 15.2 PPG.

JR Smith: JR had arguably his best season as an NBA player during the 2012-2013 season where he won 6th MOTY with 18 PPG, 2.7 APG, and 5.3 RPG. Shooting .42% from the field and .36 from downtown. JR is now called an NBA champion when he won with LeBron in Cleveland. As of June 4th, 2020 JR is looking for a way back into the NBA, he had a tryout with the Lakers but didn’t get the contract over Dion Waiters.

Pablo Prigioni: The 35 year old Argentinian rookie Pablo Prigioni was beloved by the entire Knicks faithful. The man was the definition of unselfish, even though he averaged 3.0 APG in his rookie year, he had an impact in the flow of the Knicks offense. Now he is the assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. ¡ Amamos a Pablo !

Jason Kidd: For the very last season that Jason Kidd played… it was pretty productive, on and off the court. Jason on the court helped by averaging 6.0 PPG, and 3.3 APG, and to add on to that starting 48 of his 76 games at the age of 39. Off the court Kidd helped Iman Shumpert, Chris Copeland, and James White become the men that they are today. As of now Jason Kidd is ready to help lead the Lakers to the Finals as an assistant coach. Also he spilled a drink to get a free timeout.

Kenyon Martin: The most underrated player to come from that 2012-2013 was Kenyon Martin, don’t get me wrong they are not all-star worthy stats but he was a very good piece to this teams success. He had a solid 7.2 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and 1 BPG, those are good role player numbers for the Knicks standards. As of now Kenyon is just a stay at home dad ready to send his kid off to the NBA. Kenyon Martin JR is a 4 Star Recruit, ranked 56th on the ESPN Top 100 leaderboard for 2020.

Has Bunnies like his Daddy

Raymond Felton: This is my boy Raymond Felton, one of my favorite Knicks players during my time as a fan. In 2013, Felton averaged 13.9 PPG, 5.5 APG, and 1.4 SPG. This man always puts 110% effort every night and that’s why he’s always been a favorite of mine. Felton as of 2020 has been off the grid, the last time he played was with the Thunder during the 2018-2019 season. So I don’t know if he’s trying to make a comeback but the man is 35 so I don’t know how much he has left, but he’ll always have a place in Knicks fans hearts.
